My couch surfing friend Regine had told me about the home of Auguste Escoffier in Villeneuve-Loubet,which is now the Musee de l'Art Culinaire.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auguste_Escoffier This was a great place for Mike and me to visit! Some of these towns are a bit off the “beaten track”, so it took us a few bus trips to get
there, but it was certainly worth it!! As it turned out, it didn’t open until
2, so we had time for lunch.
We were the only visitors, but it was clear that they catered to children and school groups (as most museums do in France), as there were different pictures on the floor for the children to identify.

It was an interesting and fun outing!
