Raul took Nancy to the train station to continue her trip to Paris, and Peter and I set off on our own. We walked around in the pouring rain and happened upon a wonderful dig which had been buried when they built the new market of El Born in the 1700's.

It also had interesting photography of Jesus Moncado which showed life in Barcelona past.
We had a tasty lunch nearby, as we watched it POUR!
It did stop raining, so we had a pleasant leisurely walk back to the flat and enjoyed the Barcelona ambience.
And another "interesting phenomenon" (remember, I am easily amused!) when it rains in Barcelona, sometimes, the winds from Morocco bring lots of sand, so there was sand on cars and even up on the chairs on the terrace. How would I know?
